The Town of Plainfield Parks and Recreation Department works with our local Optimist Club to provide first class athletic facilities and programs. Our partnership provides us with the opportunity to offer leagues and tournaments for soccer, football, baseball, softball and cheerleading. The community volunteer base is outstanding, and our partnership with Visit Hendricks County to help welcome visitors is key as our local businesses look forward to the opportunity to earn the business of those who visit for these events. A great example of that community and countywide collaboration came during last year’s Little League State Tournament at the Al & Jan Barker Sports Complex.
